The new bilge switch that solves the age-old problem of water in the bilge, making sure that the boat is yours absence does not become a problem, but only a pleasant relaxation when it is used. The way SENTINEL works is very simple: when powered, it goes into standby. The moment the water level reaches the sensors and wets them simultaneously for at least 30 seconds SENTINEL activates the pump which will be automatically deactivated afterwards 15 seconds since one of the two sensors is no longer reached by the water. The two sensors in contact with the water are totally isolated, so as to avoid any oxidation process or galvanic currents. The aluminum body of the switch it is also electrically isolated. It has no particular positioning problems: its circular shape with fixing to one only the central screw allows the orientation of the instrument towards the direction of arrival of the cables (or in any case the one it renders easier installation), thanks also to its three rear thicknesses. On the front of the switch there are three points of connection represented by internally threaded brass bosses + (positive pole), - (negative pole) and P (positive pole of the pump). The sensors are made up of two AISI 316 stainless steel plates. This very simple shape gives the possibility to adapt the sensors to any type of installation. The plates can in fact be cut, drilled and folded at your convenience. They can be fixed with plastic ties or by making a hole in them they can be fixed with a screw or glue with silicone. The constraints to consider are: the distance between the sensors must not exceed 30cm and the cable length from switch to sensors must not exceed 15m. The switch does not trigger the pump if they are present fuel and oil spills.
